Steadier LLC Effective Date: May 28, 2026 (consent version: v2026.07.14) Last Updated: July 28, 2026
Steadier LLC ("Steadier," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Steadier application and website at steadier.ai (collectively, the "Service"). Steadier is an AI-powered parenting support tool designed for parents and caregivers raising neurodivergent children.
This Privacy Policy has two parts:
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. Steadier is intended for use by adults (18+) only. Children do not use the Service, have no accounts, and do not interact with any part of it.
Parents and caregivers are the only users. The account holder is always an adult. You may enter information about your child to receive personalized support, but your child does not create an account, log in, or interact with the Service. There are no child-facing features. At signup you must confirm you are 18 or older and agree to this Policy and our Terms of Service; we record that confirmation with a version and timestamp.
Health-related details (diagnoses, medications, safety concerns) are optional and are stored only after you give explicit, separate consent — see Part B.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or cross-service tracking.
Only with the service providers ("processors") that make the Service work, each under contractual confidentiality and security obligations:
| Provider | What it processes | Purpose | Location |
|---|---|---|---|
| Supabase | All account and family data (database + auth) | Storage and login | AWS US (us-east-1) |
| Anthropic (Claude API) | Child profile + check-in context, in AI chats | Generates AI guidance | United States |
| Vercel | App hosting and request routing | Serves the app | United States |
| Resend | Email address and email content | Transactional email | United States |
| Stripe (planned) | Payment details and email | Subscription payments | United States |
AI processing and your permission. Steadier's support features are powered by Anthropic's Claude model. When you use them, the information you have shared — your messages, daily check-ins, behavior notes, and the profile details you enter about yourself and your child (including any optional health information such as diagnoses or medications) — is sent to Anthropic to generate your responses and insights. All of this information is collected directly from you, in the app, when you type or select it; we do not collect it from any other source. It is used solely to provide Steadier's features to you. We ask for your explicit permission in the app, before any of your information is first sent to Anthropic, and you may decline. Anthropic processes this data under contractual confidentiality and security obligations that provide protection equivalent to this policy: it does not train its models on data submitted through its API and retains API data only transiently for operational and safety purposes, after which it is deleted.
If you choose to connect a licensed provider (for example, a behavior analyst, therapist, or occupational therapist) using their Steadier referral code, we share progress summaries for the specific child you select with that provider: check-in trends and ratings, behavior log entries (including notes you write on them), goals and progress, and detected patterns. Your provider may also export this same consent-scoped data as a file for their session preparation. If your provider suggests a home practice and you accept it, the provider also sees which days you marked that practice done — declining or turning it off stops that immediately. Separately and only if you turn on the dedicated option (off by default), your provider can also see your own daily 1–5 self check-in ratings — how you say you are doing; turning that option off stops it immediately, and it never includes anything you write. We never share your AI conversations or your private check-in reflections. This sharing happens only with your explicit, per-child consent, recorded with a version and timestamp at the time you connect, and you can stop it at any time in Account → Care team, effective immediately. Providers receive this data solely to support your family and may not sell it or use it for advertising.
We may also disclose information if required by law or legal process, to protect rights and safety, or in a business transfer (with notice to you).
COPPA governs the online collection of personal information from children under 13. Steadier collects information only from adult account holders, never from children, and offers no child-facing features. On that basis COPPA does not apply. (Counsel concurs with this position; the position would change only if we ever added a child-facing feature, child account, or child-directed content — which we do not intend to do.) If you believe a child created an account, email privacy@steadier.ai and we will delete it.
No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you and authorities of a breach as required by law.
We retain your information while your account is active. If an account is inactive for 24 consecutive months, we will notify you by email and then delete it. When you delete your account (Section 10), deletion is immediate, complete, and irreversible.
You can delete your account anytime in the app. Deletion is immediate, complete, and irreversible, removing your profile, all child profiles, all conversations and messages, all check-ins, behavior logs, meltdown details, goals, goal progress, patterns, and reflections, plus your authentication record.
View and edit your information anytime within the app.
You may request a copy of your data by emailing privacy@steadier.ai. We fulfill export requests manually and will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
Comprehensive state privacy laws (e.g., California CCPA/CPRA; Virginia; Colorado; Connecticut) currently apply to businesses above certain revenue or data-volume thresholds that Steadier does not yet meet. As we grow, these may apply and grant rights to know, access, correct, delete, and port your data, and to opt out of certain processing. We honor these rights for all users regardless of threshold. To exercise any right, email privacy@steadier.ai. We do not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Steadier is operated from, and stores all data in, the United States, and is offered only to U.S. users at this time (we do not target or knowingly serve EU/UK residents). If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your information will be processed in the U.S.
Steadier does not provide medical, psychological, therapeutic, or healthcare advice. It is not a substitute for professional care and creates no provider–patient relationship. Always consult a qualified professional about your child's health, diagnoses, medications, or treatment. See our Terms of Service for full details. In an emergency, call 911, or call or text 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline).
We may update this Policy. For material changes we update the "Last Updated" date, bump the consent version, and where appropriate notify you or re-prompt for consent. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
